iv_05gt
I've always had great experiences with Continental tires. I've got a set of 18x8's i really need tires for. I'm looking at the 225/40ZR18's which are really attractive at $144 a pop. Has anyone run these?

Serb Legacy GT
I put them on, have maybe 500 miles on them. I have not had a chance to run them hard yet, waiting on tuning revisions before I get on it, but I can tell you they ride real nice. Pretty quiet, and they stick extremely well in corners. Rainy day here today, and it eats up cornering turns in the wet too. They supposedly get even better after 1k-2k of miles on them. I don't think you could go wrong with them at all. They score high, are a great price, good quality, so I say go for it!
murdoc158
I got a set a spare when I bought my car. I've run them two summers now and I love them. They are quiet, ride very nicely, and super grippy except in extreme cold. If you found them for $144 I'd jump all over them. I just bought a set for my wife's Mini and thought $156 for 17's was a good price.
