Vwown3d
Here is my story as short as possible. I started out purchasing just the perrin axle back mufflers about 9 months ago. Install was fine except I noticed two things: -The Passenger side can sticks out further from the bumper than the other. -The Drivers side can is rotated and the logo is not on top/the angleed cut is crooked. I tried adjusting the hangers/connections but had no luck. I decided to leave it alone until I had a full turboback system to start complaining. Later on I purchased the mid/y-pipe and the downpipe, all Perrin parts. After the full install, the two problems were still there and could not be fixed with minor adjustments. Here's where the crap comes in. I emailed Perrin and have bee talking to a rep for the past 5 months or longer. I sent pictures of the cans, connections and more of the whole system. I sent them date codes and everything they need. Every email I got from the I was put on another goose chase. There is NO way the rotated can can be fixed without replacement and the longer one I can deal with. I just wanted the rotated one replaced. Well it has been over 6 months and Perrin has done NOTHING. The rep just asks for more pictures or try this or try that when the problem is clearly obvious. I am not the 1st person with this problem as seen in this thread: http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=53865&highlight=perrin+catback several people say they have had problems. There was another thread with a guy with the same problem as me but i cannot find it right now. So as is stands I am very disappointed with Perrin throwing me through all of these loops. The only thing I can think of now is cutting and rewelding the two cans to get the fit it is supposed to have. Now for the pictures: Length pictures: Pass. side (BAD): http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b330/vwown3d/photo.jpg Drivers side: http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b330/vwown3d/photo2.jpg Alignment pictures: Pass side (Good): http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b330/vwown3d/photo4-1.jpg http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b330/vwown3d/IMG_8260.jpg Drivers side (Bad) http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b330/vwown3d/photo3.jpg http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b330/vwown3d/IMG_8259.jpg Overall PIctures: http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b330/vwown3d/IMG_8257.jpg CN Bad exhaust from perrin, they are throwing me through loops for 6 months won't replace. GTTuner
I think Perrin has discontinued the LGT mid, Y, and cans. They fit like crap.
TruAlk
I also have a perrin CBE and the length is perfect however my drivers side is also rotated a little. Not as bad as yours but I can deal with it. If I had it to do over again, I would have done a full cobb turbo back, but hell they dont make a CBE anymore also.

PhillyWilly
like how the cliff notes were at the end so you read them AFTER every thing else. next time consider putting them at the beginning.

whitetiger
perrin exhaust parts fitment has always been hit or miss. you cant expect aftermarket parts to have perfect fitment 100% of the time. its the nature of the beast.

TruAlk
so, being that I live right by Perrin HQ, I went there today and showed them my crooked tip on my muffler. They were disappointed in it and gave me a brand new muffler, basically no questions asked. I told them when I swap it I will bring the used one back. I know that some people have had issues with their customer service but this was some of the best service I have ever had. I just felt that I needed to say this. Thanks again Jeff for taking care of me today.
