ADaniels
I am going to install a pioneer system in the car (display and such)...I have to connect a wire to the 'lighting switch terminal'. Where is this in the fuse panel. Is that the same as the illum? The point of this is to dim the unit when the car dash dim's..but i'm not too sure what fuse exaclty that would connect to. Let me know.
legacy2005
not to sure it would be the illum dial since that only provides light when the headlights are on. get a copy of the vacation pix, i think he did an install like your and its got some detailed pix of how to hook it up. Work hard. Play even harder. My Garage

ADaniels
On that diagram the orange/white is the dimmer. In a search in other posts there is also an illumination (orange) wire. What is the difference between these two wires (if they are indeed two seperate wires...i'll check tomorrow). For my pioneer system it calls to be connected to 'to lighting switch terminal'. Would that be the dimmer (orange/white), or the illumination(orange). Thanks for bearing with me.
