KiNGKAOS
I did a "quick" search on here. Which lead me to check the "FWD fuse holder" in the engine bay. which there isn't a fuse in it... The reason y I think it's in FWD mode is: If I stomp on the gas pedal at a stop sign. I will squeal my tires. Plus if its raining out without stomping on the pedal. My tires will spin until I let up off the pedal.. It's my understanding that my Legacy shouldn't be able to squeal the tires if the AWD system is in working order!?! Is there anything else I should check? I don't have the means to get the car jacked up in the air to see if all tires are spinning.. Thanx
johnegg
look under the car to see if there is a drive shaft that runs from the trans to the rear diff. the FWD fuse holder is EMPTY for AWD and fuse in place for fwd.

Stang70Fastback
Yeah. Bald or hard (old) tires could easily cause these issues. Ask me how I know...
