bmx045
I hope that's not you nba^^^^ because if it is, you need a lesson on 1. oil filters and how they work, and the differences, and 2. oil viscosity and gas mileage.

How many screws and clips do i need to take off to get the skid plate off in order to access the oil filter? anything will help. thanks! Should be 4 bolts and two plastic push-plugs to remove the plastic under-pan. The bolts are towards the center and each push-plug is towards each front wheel. I did the first oil change on my 2012 a month or two back and broke the plastic push plugs when trying to remove them. A combination of the winter cold, my sausage-like fingers and gorilla technique contributed to the failure . FWIW, the pan is doing more than fine with the bolts only! The ends are tucked up inside anyway. You'll see once you do it. Joel
