bighaus90
your drive by wire so no cables to snap but when this happened to my buddy's lgt it was his throttle position sensor (TPS) that was bad he had to get it replaced. You can sometimes get it to reset just by turning your car on and off again a few times.
Adoniram
Might be worth resetting the ECU as well.
project
Read the CEL, post the code it gives you here. We need the exact code number. If that doesn't work start looking for all the typical things, i.e., coil packs, plugs, intake leaks, all the fun little things. How is it idling? Higher or lower than normal, or any different at all?
Mega Users seabass07 Posted October 20, 2011 Mega Users Share Posted October 20, 2011 No cel? It sounds like you could be in limp mode.
DirtyDan
Could be a plugged fuel filter.
project
seabass, I believe the OP indicated that he does in fact have a CEL on. OP, take your car to an autozone/adv auto parts and have them scan it. Post the codes and we'll go from there.
Mega Users seabass07 Posted October 20, 2011 Mega Users Share Posted October 20, 2011 Lol...2 lines of text and I missed it. I need more coffee! Find the cel and find the problem. And it's a good idea to figure out what the cel code is before you reset the ecu.
