LGTwagon99
In my never-ending search for my next subaru, i think i have found two that will satisfy me. I sold my 99 LGT wagon this spring, and i kick myself in the butt every time i think about it. Sooo...needless to say, i am buying another one! Throughout my search, I at one time considered settling for a nice automatic wagon, 3rd gen legacy. One with all the options, just a good cruiser/daily driver for the next several years. However, this changed when i test drove an 02 GT sedan 5spd last weekend. It was a bit trashed, but still a blast to drive for a 4 cyl. It didn't help that the entire intake assembly was missing, so i could really hear the motor open up. Love the rumble So...i've been looking more at GT manual models, 2nd or 3rd gen, sedan or wagon. I have found two that i am very interested in. Car #1: 1999 Legacy GT Wagon, 5spd, 110k miles, 1 owner, asking $5750 http://i1143.photobucket.com/albums/n625/knick2011/25376715831318964519IM1MAIN565x421_A562x4211-1.jpg http://i1143.photobucket.com/albums/n625/knick2011/25376715834318964519IM104565x421_A562x4211.jpg http://i1143.photobucket.com/albums/n625/knick2011/25376715833318964519IM103565x421_A562x4211.jpg Car #2: 2002 Legacy GT Sedan, 5spd, 102k miles, asking $5999 http://i1143.photobucket.com/albums/n625/knick2011/26202621115324688981IM1MAIN565x421_A562x4211.jpg http://i1143.photobucket.com/albums/n625/knick2011/26202621119324688981IM104565x421_A562x4211.jpg http://i1143.photobucket.com/albums/n625/knick2011/26202621123324688981IM108565x421_A562x4211.jpg Even with #2 being newer with less mileage, i fell in love with the gt wagon BK body style, so #1 is more appealing to me. I've seen the white one in person as well, and it is amazingly clean. I know that it is all personal preference, but i would like to hear what some of my fellow subaru people have to say about these two cars, and hopefully you guys can help me make a decision! Thanks in advance for the help!

John494
I have the exact same car as number two, and love it. The only problems are there is little low end acceleration when completely stock. Also, it fights being put into first sometimes. I think i just need new bushings to take care of that though. And third and most annoying to me is nobody in the world seems to make projector headlights for this entire generation of legacys. Other than those three things I love the car.
