My name is ben and I own a pair of liberties and want to

Know the difference between the two engines . Both are

Ej22 but one car is a series 2 sedan fwd and the other

Is a series 1 wagon awd

The sedan has over 370,000 on it and it's a true performer

Whereas the other is only 243,000 and seems to struggle

. I know weight makes a difference . Both engines are stock

Even with a straight through cannoned 2.5 on the awd it

Seems lacking . Any info is much appreciated

You have different MY on them, so there can be some differences between them, but I'll suggest that you perform a thorough maintenance on the cars replacing oil all around, check the brakes, replace fuel filters, clean the ignition coil pack and cables and of course replace the spark plugs.

Also do a compression test to verify that all is well.

Be aware that it's possible that the camshaft belts may have been incorrectly replaced some time in the past causing the timing to be "off" by one tooth so it's worth to check that too.

And check for fault codes too. Search for information about reading OBD-I fault codes.

I looked up the 89 on drive.com and it said comp 9.5 100 kw

And 189 nm torque . I put my the 94 on the dyno and it pulled 112 kw

And 201 nm of torque out of a standard Subaru fwd . My mechanic said it's one

Of the most unique engine he had seen and went as far as to say that it was a freak engine. Even with 370 ish kms on it it will still pull near in 200 . Actually I got nabbed

In here doing 197 kms per hour but I backed of and they nabbed me at 147 kms LOL

Hello my name is ben . I own a 90 liberty awd and I need to

Replace the gearbox as it's 4th gear keeps jumping out . Mechanic

Said it was selector. Anyway I was wonder if a wrx box would

Fit and be compatible with the current all wheel drive box that's

Currently in it . Subaru said that mine had a 4 stud bolting pattern

And the wrx had a 6 stud pattern but is it posible to do so
