mr.hicksta
Right now I have 18x7.5 ProDrive GC010Es, but I'm looking to go back to a 17" wheel. I'm considering going back to OEM wheels, but I'd go for a solid, DD-friendly set of aftermarket wheels as well. If I go back to aftermarket 17s, I'll go with a 17x8 set and I haven't decided which tires I'd go with yet. All that said, what aftermarket 17" wheels are worth taking a look at if I can't find a mint set of OEM wheels?

mr.hicksta
budget? Yeah, not looking to break the bank or piss off the fiancee I'd like to be able to sell my current wheel/tire combo to cover the cost of the 17" setup. Current setup = ProDrive GC010E (18x7.5) + Bridgestone PP RE970 (225/40R18).

Underdog
225/45-17 Dunlop Wintersport 3D If I wasn't using them with winter/snow tires I would probably run a 235 or 245 on there to take advantage of the width and square up the shoulders a bit. Gire
Enkei for sure. Lots of beautiful designs in 17" that are high quality yet not forged. if you want new, I'd go Enkei. Otherwise I'd hold out for a nice used set of Volk or Advan or Works or Weds. Drift Motion and I have similar tastes.
