1454
^ yea how do i do that on video? its why its privately listed. You would probably have to use a video editor. But I've never done it, so I'm not positive. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk

frank_ster
ordered spare tire mounted propane tank should be in early next week. will use dedicated gasoline type injectors for the propane injection into the charge pipe. lieutenantcolumbo
Curious to see how many miles you can get out of tank before refilling. Can you stop a mini mart and grab a bbq tank if you're running low. Or better yet can you tap into your fuel supply for a bbq if you're tailgaiting at game. frank_ster
yea ^ but that's like 4 x the cost ! i figure i should get like 350 km per tank 40 L and cost 24$ to fill it up. gas cost 1.35/l * 60 L = 80$ to fill the normal tank i get 450 km out of it. 80/ 450 = 17 cents per km 24/ 350 = 07 cents per km Now that's thinking out of the boxer! fyi all 05 + legacy's have built in code reader
lieutenantcolumbo
That's a good savings even if fuel prices continue to fall due to US/Can producing more energy. What's neat is you should be able to pretty much do back to back runs to see how performance is impacted by propane vs. gas.

Is that USD or CAD? well supposed to be able to make more power on propane. and cad and usd are dead even right now. but cost of gas is 25-35% in the usa less than canada. lieutenantcolumbo
In for results. I think I'd be interested even if horsepower was even after the conversion. You gonna start taking orders for conversions once you get the wrinkles ironed out? I still need to get my center diff bullet proofed too so I could kill two birds with one stone. frank_ster
well for most of you guys your just as well to get the kits. total cost about 1700$ it comes with tank injectors lines instructions, a ecm, gauge switch and so on. those would not be liquid injection kits so probably not as much power. but you could just switch to gas when you want the extra power. frank_ster
It's already installed and working on the crank wheel It's just making fake crank and cam signal I just don't know the timming for the cam events It's part of megasquirt it's a tiny io card size of a pack of matches. Not only does it make the cam and crank signal it adds another 8 or 12 inputs ! And another 4 outputs that can be programed to do anything.
