BoozeRS05
Hey All, Terry Dyson (Dyson Analysis) recommended me a fuel additive by LCD, Inc. (LCD, Inc.) back in the day called FP Plus. I bought some then and the stuff has been excellent in my experience. Soy based concentrated (1oz/10gal) gasoline additive cleaning product. Motor seems to purr so nicely when using it, and I run about a 0.5-1oz treatment every oil change. Reason for my thread is, has anyone ever try LCD's oil additive LC20? http://www.lcdinc.com/products_lube_control.php I ran out of my FP Plus today and I'd like to get another quart of it. There's a sale that includes the LC20, which is why I ask. Any insight/experience, negative or positive, on this product or similar products are appreciated, Erik B. BoozeRS05
Yeah, I read through some of those. Lots of speculation, nothing with substance in my reading. Dyson has some interesting testing results posted in the testimonials page of the LCD website that I linked. http://www.lcdinc.com/tests_dyson.php Something that worries me is if this product would loosen deposit, and then that gets trapped in the banjo bolts leading to oil starvation. But the claim is the cleaning process dissolves deposits into natural lubricants.
