You could use stock injectors at low boost.. 6psi

 

My guess it would spool insanely fast and put down 190awhp and 220awtq. Due to 2.5L and higher compression engine. Stock WRXs only put down 165-170awhp with less displacement and lower compression at higher psi.

well your talking me into it here.. what would i need to do to get it installed? i have a pp6 piggyback ecu i could get easy, but would i have to **** with the engine wiring? what do i do about MAF and stuff?

PP6 is for all pre-2004 non turbo vehicles. If you go turbo this would be perfect since you don't need to convert harness for turbo wrx ecu. You can tune with the PP6 just like I can with cobb,utec,opensource.

 

Stock MAF. fuel pump and injectors should be fine up to 8psi no problems(maybe more but I know AVOs 380 2.5RS kit is only 6psi), the MAF would go to the turbo inlet pipe just like it would on a WRX setup.

would the 98 front swaybar fit the 96 outback also?

sway bars and a nice set of coilovers/springs will increase your handling more than anything else, coupled with a good set of tires you'll get a slot car feeling, sway bars are a great start, and for ineedmorepsi's offer, you can get a nice increase for a good price

Headlights are 1 piece non-projectors. 95-96' Style

 

The H & R springs were used from Nov 09 til March 10 they look new, then I upgraded to Race Coilovers.

 

I have Outback front sway bar with yellow Whiteline sway bar bushings for sale too.

Buy any Ebay uppipe for $50

 

You will have to shorten the catback because a downpipe will extend under car to the shifter area.

 

2.5" is good enough at only 6-10psi

 

No need for header, the turbo manifold replaces the header, you need turbo crossmember for turbo manifold and uppipe to work.

 

The front sway bar will work with turbo cross member. I used mine for 3 months til I upgraded to a 22mm adjustable bar.
