What to do with these yellow rims?

    • Change the yellow to white

I recently traded my 17"s stock rims for some 18"s with a friend of mine who owns a yellow impreza. The thing is that his 18"s were color mathced to his exterior, so now I'm trying to figure out what to do with them.

 

I can either:

1. Change the yellow to white

2. Change the yellow to black (creating an all-black rim)

3. Change the yellow to red

4. Remove the yellow paint and polish the metal

5. Paint the inner part (the dish) in black then put the outer ring only (the edge) in red or some other color.

6. Remove all the paint (even the black on the spokes!), creating an all-polished (silver) rim.

7. Dont waste my time doing anything to these rims.

8. Other suggestion.. explain in post.

 

A couple pics, can post some photoshopped ideas later.

Loooks like we've been teleported back to the 90's when colour matching wheels was the cool thing to do.

 

 

Strip em down (acid bath) and then powdercoat them a nice silver, or hyper black, or polish the lip and paint the faces the above colours.
