wrxwhit
Holy crap Batman, 29 lbs for the 18's. Would need to upgrade turbo to pull these things around. Back to TSW. Hmmmm.. Konig 18x9 +42 would just about perfect!! I hate choosing wheels
GTEASER
And your wallet will thank you for getting Konigs. I love mine although I am considering switching to the Oversteer to save a few pounds. My 18x9+40 Torchs are about 24lbs each. GTEASER's 2012 Legacy GT - Sold GTEASER's 2009 XTeaser - Sold GTEASER's 1992 Legacy SS - Sold
ncfree
I thought about the niches and enkeis too. It's all personal preference at that point. Tsw are 18.6lb each at 18x8. http://www.tsw.com/alloy_wheels_nurburgring.php I didn't love the niches in person. A guy had them on a forester at the shop I got mine from. Also the enkeis are cast/ spun? I dunno. They have some weird technique on their website. http://www.enkei.com/raijin.shtml I didn't see weight. Tsw is rotary forged. Maybe that's the same damn thing different name? Like I said. Personal preference in the end IMO.

wrxwhit
So, if I place two separate orders I should save $200 making these $988!!! And what's up with the color. That's not Matte gunmetal in the picture right?? http://www.ebay.com/itm/191106133594
GTEASER
I believe it is matte gun metal, they do not come in black. They only come in bronze, gun metal and gun metal with machined face. ncfree
Yes. Matte gunmetal. If were talking bout the nurburgring. Also matte bronze from what I understand. Gteaser is right.
wrxwhit
Picture looks like matte black to me, but pictures sometimes depict diff colors or my eyes just suck. I did just come across some Enkei Raijins in 18x9.5 gunmetal. I think I'm in love! Just wish they were a bit darker in color. GTEASER
The Raijins look sweeter in person than the Nurburges, imo. Thats what Swannee225 has in hyper silver, and I drool every time I see them. But neither have a very concave look regardless of the wheel width. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/08/08/6asapa4u.jpg GTEASER's 2012 Legacy GT - Sold GTEASER's 2009 XTeaser - Sold GTEASER's 1992 Legacy SS - Sold
Ellesedil
But neither have a very concave look regardless of the wheel width. This is one of two reasons why I'm toying with the idea of getting some wider wheels than what I already have. The other reason is that my center cap situation is somewhat annoying and I'd like to not have to deal with it twice a year.
wrxwhit
Screw it, went with TSW. Can't get over the matte Gunmetal. Raijin gunmetal looks more like silver. Drag Dr38's in Hypersilver going up in classifieds.

wrxwhit
Just went through your build thread again Mr. Free and now cannot freakin wait for these to come in. Will be interesting to see what the +35 looks like compared to your +45. The nerves are setting in. Also interested to see the difference in the concave with -10mm difference. Prob not a big difference since they are only 8" wide.

I hope it's the first one. Get some pics up!! When are they comin in?!

wrxwhit
Thanks NC!! Now eveything has to be blacked out. Headlights now look out of place and the freakin' chrome grill makes me wanna puke when I look at it. And to boot, the chrome lettering gotta go bye bye too. When de-badging, I believe in all or nothing but may play around with Subie logo. Love when there is more stuff to do. Keeps you alive!! Oh, and a front lip from Bason-R just came to mind.
