use of STI hubs?

So i was looking through fredbeans last nigh and saw that the "wheel bearing" assembly they sell for the LGT is actually the whole hub. So one of the problems with swapping over STi brembos or wheels is the caliper mounting points and the spacing of the studs. Assuming that the STI half shafts have the same spline dimensions, should we be able to swap over STi hubs too? or would some type of hybrid half shaft have to be made? i'm kind of just thinking out loud, hopefully someone else has had this thought before too

Go look at the 5x100 to 5x114 conversion thread. Hasn't been done yet.

The hub has no affect on the brembo conversion.
