jay-d
I've got the Leptronix Aux-In and it's been working great for over a year. I took a male to male 3.5mm head phone cable and cut off one end and wired it to this that's installed in my centre console. http://www.sayal.com/images_c/GAR-1205-1.JPG The threaded collar on the chassis mount is too small, it's not mounted the best way, and it was a very cheap unit. The cable wiggles a little and I can hear static so I opted to get something much better. Now I have this: http://canada.newark.com/productimages/standard/en_US/4767443.jpg My question is.. where can I find out which wire goes to which pole? On my previous adapater (?), audio was working and left/right etc all functioned correctly. I think I got lucky! I want to do it right this time, so any help would be appreciated! DonnyJagaru
You need an ohmmeter and 3.5mm plug with stripped ends.
jay-d
I've got both! However, I haven't used an ohm meter since grade 10 electronics Can you guide me in the right direction? Do I connect it and what reading would I be looking for?
