siren173
I have an 05 legacy gt wagon and i am in the middle of doing my TSK3 throw out bearing kit. The clutch disk is getting pretty low and i dont want to put it back together just to have to do a clutch in a couple months, that being said I have a competition stage 2 clutch in there now and i am wondering if i can put an act clutch disc in the competition clutch pressure plate? The biggest reason i ask is that the comp clutch disc is 10 inches in diameter and the act is only 9 inches. thank you for your imput.
Max Capacity
Personally I would not recommend that. Do it right or don't do it at all. You can pay now or pay later when the smaller disc wears out sooner. The flywheel should be resurfaced too. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). CHECK your oil, these cars use it.
