TheWeatherWarrior
It was mentioned in one certain now closed thread, I thought I'd show folks a nice little tool that is very helpful in assessing how good a driver you are. It is the Davis CarChip. Depending on the vintage, model, etc. you buy, you can record all sorts of data about how you driver from speed, stopping, engine codes too. In fact, it's the basis for what Progressive uses for their Snapshot program (although I hate Progressive I wish more companies had this...my friend even had me drive his car a lot if we were car pooling because I could get all the parameters to make his rates drop...lol). Once I get my new ride, I'm getting one, even if my insurance isn't using it. I can at least PROVE I'm an excellent driver. BTW...sorry about the annoying video (with FLO) that describe the program in the link I provided.
acumenhokie
Can't you get the same sort of information by data logging with your access port?
TheWeatherWarrior
access port? You mean the OBDII....cause that is exactly what it uses.
