MRnMRS
We decided to drive up Mt. Rainier this past weekend in our new OB. Although I still love driving a manual transmission, the new 6-speed CVT is definitey nice! http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/cc147/ceejaybeegee/2010_OutbackLTD.jpg more pics to come... mbcracken
Any more details on how the CVT did on the climb to Paradise? Did it find the right, er, gear? range? when needing to shift down? I've heard the CVT shifts very smooth. And of course more pics. Cheers, Mike

CVT's are, by name, continuously variable. No set number of ratios. The look of the 10's is growing on me. If there was a 2010 XT, I may have even considered one! I am trying to get my parents to replace their two cars with one H6 `10 OB Flip Key Development Thread "Genius may have its limitations, but stupidity is not thus handicapped." - E. Cheers, Mike it felt "smoother" to me than the auto/stick transmission in our previous '09.. braking.. downshifting (down"moving").. accelerating out of a corner.. no real complaints or gripes. BAC5.2
The '10 H6 has the 5EAT. The standard transmission is a 6-speed Manual. The CVT is an option on the 4-cylinder Outback. The LGT, and H6 cars have 5EAT's (the LGT can still be had with a 6MT though).
