G5892
As the title states, I'm trying to figure out what psi spring(s) I have in my tial 38mm MVS. It seems like the EWG opens up early (around 6-8psi). When I had everything installed, I was told I had a 1 bar psi spring(s) put in (~14). Is there anyway I can tell me spring pressure without disassembling everything?
Gex
No way to really tell unless you crack it open and find out. http://www.amsperformance.com/cart/images/D/WasteGateSpringChart.jpg

ibr_adam09
Use a laptop with rom-riader, cobb accesport, or a boost gauge. Cap off the boost solenoid by directly running your wg line into your turbo nipple inlet. Your car should only build boost by what your spring will allow. Should I look for the psi where the EWG opens, or the max psi that the car hits to determine the spring? Thanks.

ibr_adam09
Yes plug the ebcs. And route the at line to the turbo nipple. Whatever max boost you hit is your pressure spring.
