Lardo420 Posted June 3, 2011 Share Posted June 3, 2011 What is the tube inside of the inlet to the stock axleback muffler? Going to weld in straight pipes tomorrow, just looked at the stockers and there seems to be some sort of inner liner in there. I am planning on cutting off the inlet pipe right before the muffler and weld straight pipe from there to a chrome tip. If anyone knows what this is or what's going to happen when the sawzall blade hits it thatd be great. Edit: is this just overlap between the end of the pipe and the flange location?
