jasejase
nope.... this should help you out http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/q-spec-b-stock-wheel-and-brembo-big-brakes-122320.html
chutrain
I believe they are similar profile to the Stoptech calipers, so it will not fit. I ended up switching to AP Racing which have a slimmer profile. I use my SpecB wheels for my winter with Blizzaks, so really didn't want to buy a whole new set of wheels and swap the tires over. The Wilwoods are another option that will fit under those wheels. maxx189
Well I think that if I use wheel spacers , they can fit ..
jasejase
I think so, but towards the end of that above mentioned thread, it is addressed a bit. Google search will net you better results than the Lgt search feature.
maxx189
sorry for bringing up an old thread .. but do you think that if I run spacers my OEM spec.b wheel will clear front brembo ? if so , wich spacer size would I need ?
Spec B
i never ran my brembos with stock wheels. I think the Spec b wheels offset is ET55 - you need at least ET48 to clear brembos. Since spacers usually come in increments of 5, you will likely need a 10mm spacer. Not very practical IMO.
maxx189
why do you say it is not very practical ?
Drift Motion
i never ran my brembos with stock wheels. I think the Spec b wheels offset is ET55 - you need at least ET48 to clear brembos. Since spacers usually come in increments of 5, you will likely need a 10mm spacer. Not very practical IMO. offset does not determine brake clearance, spoke design does you can use upto 7mm spacers without needing extended stud if you want to be sure to clear, get 15mm bolt on spacers, until you find a set of wheels that clears
maxx189
Nobody ever tested these wheels on brembo ?
KCwagon
Spec B wheels DO NOT fit over Brembos w/o a spacer for sure.
maxx189
Spec B wheels DO NOT fit over Brembos w/o a spacer for sure. well Im not suprised of that answer but do you think it need a HUGE spacer .. over15mm ? or it can be fitted with a smaller spacer ? maxx189
I heard that the 2008+ wheels at less clearance ..
mk6933
If you can afford Brembos, you can afford new wheels.
jasejase
I agree. I love a good sleeper look, however the spacers are a bit Mickey Mouse
maxx189
The thing is that I like the OEM look of these wheels .. I'll see , if I don't have the choice I will buy new wheels
jasejase
I happen to like the OEM wheels as well. I briefly thought about going with a big brake kit, however it's a bit over-the-top for daily driving use, and even autocross

pigboat_2
Very nice fitment on the pictured LGT. Question, there is a seller dumping some 07 LGT wheels (same as 08's) for very cheap and I'm wondering if they'll clear my front Brembos. I ask because all the threads I find are in regard to Spec B wheels or the 05-06 LGT wheels. Seller also mentioned +45 offset, which should be enough to clear? I want to test fit on my car but he's an hour away...
maxx189
I cant be sure at 100% about the 07 LGT wheels bu they are 17" and I never saw brembo fittes under them.
jasejase
They are 17. They will not fit over brembos.
pigboat_2
Well the fact that they are 17" is irrelevant...
jasejase
Correct. Was just verifying the prior posters assumption
