Coolbs7
I have an AEM Cold Air Intake. Kind of useless other than the fact that i can actually hear my turbo. Don't think it's worth the money though.

Don't think it's worth the money though. good until you get tired of the sound:lol: I did when I was 20:lol: like everyone said, intakes are not worth it, spend it towards a tune 5eat downshift rev match:) Powder coated wheels: completed:)
frank_ster
the intakes only give more whisteling sound , but also a chance of burning your pistons if there is something wrong! the intake track is calibrated with the maf. and propor cold air intakes are stupid expensive. Now that's thinking out of the boxer! fyi all 05 + legacy's have built in code reader

Schrei Wolf
Are the K&N filters worth the extra cost or not If you're going to get a fancy one, got with the AEM over the K&N as the oil in the K&N can kill your maf.
Coolbs7
It was my first mod. I don't think it increases MPG any thing noticeably. The only Plus is that it's a very little roar when you step on the throttle all the way down, and then you can hear your turbo spooling around 3k RPM's. I'd rather save the $300 for lowering springs/struts, exhaust, tune, anything. I don't think it's worth the price, but it's your call. If you're swimming in cash go for it, if not then i wouldn't recommend it.
Schrei Wolf
Oh and if you insist the on a cold air kit the only one you can run without a tune is the KS Tech because it's the same size as the OEM one.
