MissJapaneseSubaru
So im doing my belt and waterpump and so on. I had a massive oil leak. So i lined everything up the person who did it before me the timing marks were off and i didnt see any other marks but the circle on the crank pulley. Then i took the belt off cleaned everything up. And now i see a little notch on the side of it. If thats the notch im supposed to use how do i now fix the timing with the cams? There was no clinking are anything with the cams just dont want to twist the cams if im supposed to do something else. Thanks!

MissJapaneseSubaru
Ok so i put everything back together aligned everything. So when i started it it ran then cut off. Now i did disconnect my o2 sensor because i bought a new one but wasnt able to install it yet. Is this why it starts then cuts off? DOHCEJ22E1
Reconnect your O2 sensor & check your vacuum lines. Also, check your wiring harness to see if everything is plugged in correctly.
