TexasLegacy2.5GT
Looks like I'm getting slammed for not posting a Subie made back in Cold War times! Let's me arbitrarily say any Scoob thats over 11 years old such is fair game! Cool? Start with page two. All the negative gripes came out on page one and of course none of those grumpy old men wanted to post a cool picture of a vintage Subie. All entries are welcome no matter how rusted or beat up!! Cheers! My first entry, Went up to Home Depot today when I spotted this little Green Imprezza in Mint (not a speck of rust) Condition parked under the shade of a tree. So you know I had to go check it out. It said AWD LS 2.2L on the back. Freaking Car had Go Kart dimensions...bet that little car handles! http://i231.photobucket.com/albums/ee134/Rubenjc111/C00B0F14-orig.jpg
TexasLegacy2.5GT
Aw, come on!! There has to be another old school Subie that you've bumped into. Here in Dallas they are very rare. Everything is mostly 2011 on a lease. I've only seen one 2.5GT and a Legacy L parked up by the pet store I see once a week.

I think there are two other subarus around theres a GT and a baja and my self and that lil bugger
Subyduby-doo
You call that old? Car looks like a 1997 Impreza. When I saw this thread I thought I was going to be seeing pics of at least 1983 GL's or something to that effect. No offense, but you must be young if you think this is "old". ____Spending funds in mass quantities! I keep telling myself it's just a hobby? TbirdMan
first off, that is a pre 1996 cause it isn't a facelift model. I see at least 40-50 second gen leggies (mostly OB) and 1st gen imprezas on my drive to school. They are thick as fleas on a stray dog up here. and more then a few old GL's. problem up here is they use salt in the winters and that also happens to be when everyone drives their subarus, so finding a rust free one is getting impossible, that is why i flew to FL to buy mine. That's just plain lazy and only harbors a negative feel for your post. Hey, if you think "old school" is an 83 GL or XT Turbo then take a photo and post. Just don't gripe thats rather unbecoming. I Donated broknindarkagain Posted September 5, 2011 I Donated Share Posted September 5, 2011 I put my old EJ22 through hell and back. Ran it without oil for 2 hours, overheated it several times, frequently red lined it....blah blah blah.
