zanzabar
my 06 wagon is stock and i want to run 225/50/17 with a 7.5" wheel, will it have any problems with tire fit or rubbing? i just want to check before i order the wheels/tires. and a follow up is what tire should i get? i was looking at continentals while they are on sale and was looking at the DWS, but the pure contact with its slightly better ware rating. DaveWilson
I can let you know in a couple weeks.... I'm putting 225/50/17 winters on my 17x7.5 +48 sparco terras. It should fit no problem, Ive seen people run 225/55/17's on the same size wheels with no problems.
zanzabar
so, they fit fine, no rubbing at all. some people warned about backing up in full lock but i have no rubbing.
stephenmarr
i have 225/55/17 on stock 17' rims on my 2006 jdm wagon no rubbing and super comfy.
Jack Giovo
My guess is it will fit also - but some rims have odd offsets - it would be a shame to buy cool rims that have an odd offset - different sites give the offset in their write ups - I would do some comparing before I plop down the cash

zanzabar
Do you guys realize that 225/55r17 is stock for outbacks on a +48 wheel? outbacks have a taller suspension and i dont think the 55s would fit in there. if i get the mini lift with the xt dampers i think i would go 55 next time though.
