my 06 wagon is stock and i want to run 225/50/17 with a 7.5" wheel, will it have any problems with tire fit or rubbing? i just want to check before i order the wheels/tires.

and a follow up is what tire should i get? i was looking at continentals while they are on sale and was looking at the DWS, but the pure contact with its slightly better ware rating.

Do you guys realize that 225/55r17 is stock for outbacks on a +48 wheel?

outbacks have a taller suspension and i dont think the 55s would fit in there. if i get the mini lift with the xt dampers i think i would go 55 next time though.

stock outbacks have a taller suspension, yes. my outback is lower than a stock lgt though, and I'm running stock OBXT tires (225/55r17) with zero issues. just fyi.
