psapitch13
I am going to post this on this section because it seems to get more activity... I just picked up an accessport and I am trying to load a stage 2 map onto my car. The AP recognized the ECU on my car, a 2005.5 LGT, and I saved the current ECU info. I then reset the ECU and got the big green "checkmark," that said reset was a success. My problem occurs when I pick which map I want to install and it goes to the next screen. The AP has a screen of "TEST MODE" and tells me to connect the green plugs, which I already have connected. http://i1102.photobucket.com/albums/g453/qsmgto13/2005%20Legacy%20GT/20130304_063846_zps7f42cf2e.jpg What the heck is going on with this thing? Flipapotimus
I would assume that switch is an on/off switch for the test mode connectors since they have been spliced.

psapitch13
Undo everything? I'm trying to sit in the car now to get this mode to work. No luck thus far. I guess I need to take it to a tuning place and get the ecu reset. I that is what Cobb reccomended.
Max Capacity
Can you cut the two yellow wires then try again. Then after the reflash unplug the green connectors like all of us do. Looks like some one hacked the system to be able to change maps ? I'm not good with that type stuff. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. mwiener2
Cut the yellow wires and either splice them together, or repair the original wires. My Mods List (Updated 8/22/17) 2005 Outback FMT Running on Electrons
Max Capacity
I'm assuming the yellow wires come one, from each connector, if he connects them its the same as plugging in the two green connectors. right ? 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. mwiener2
the red wire looks split into the two yellow wires probably to a switch.. maybe the one he found. some nice hackage My Mods List (Updated 8/22/17) 2005 Outback FMT Running on Electrons

psapitch13
The car does have a Innovate wide O2 sensor gauge. I am going to see if I can have a tuner reflash the ecu to stock.

psapitch13
I am trying to locate a picture of exactly what wire are supposed to be connected so I can rewire it to what it is supposed to be.
psapitch13
Took the tape off of the wires. You think If I connect the red on again and plug the connectors in it should work correct? http://i1102.photobucket.com/albums/g453/qsmgto13/2005%20Legacy%20GT/20130305_100436_resized_zpsfa164d3b.jpg
Flipapotimus
Should yes, I would use something better than black tape to put them together though.
psapitch13
do the other wires (the black one) look as they should?
Max Capacity
I can't view the photos here at work. I think you need to remove the 2 yellow wires from either end of the green connector wires. In other words put it back like stock. Have you been to Invatives site to see if you can get the wireing set up ? 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). I Donated thefultonhow Posted March 5, 2013 I Donated Share Posted March 5, 2013 Have you been to Invatives site to see if you can get the wireing set up ? The Innovate WBO2 looks like it is probably properly set up.

I Donated thefultonhow Posted March 5, 2013 I Donated Share Posted March 5, 2013 I will disconnect the yellows and connect the red pieces when I get home. You can also just cut the yellow wires and connect the ends together if they're soldered onto the reds.
Indiglow
you'll know if you're in test mode when the radiator fans cycle on/off on their own with the key in the on position.... someone sexually molested your wiring.
