Bonafide P
So I had a question, I reflashed my car to stage 1 93, then I installed a spt cbe, do I have to reflash the car because of the install, or do I install another map. This is my only mod, other than a gfb bov. Thanks in advance Bona Poun
compsurge
No reflash needed. You may look into getting a custom stage 1 e-tune though.
Bonafide P
What's a custom e tune ? And can it be downloading with the Cobb map manager?
bmx045
You should go to Bren and have him custom tune a map through your AP.
Bonafide P
Is it costly? And worth it with the little Mods I have?
bmx045
it's worth while. www.brentuning.com
goneskiian
An "e tune" is a tune you get via email from a tuner. They send you a tune you do a log with your AP and send it to them so they can make tweeks. Rinse and repeat. Yes, you can load it with your AP manager. Yes, custom is worth it. Bonafide P
so say for instance, I get etune now with certain mods, and i decide to get more mods, so i would have to etune and again, and pay the same price. or is it a one time pay thing. bmx045
Retunes are sometimes cheaper than the initial tune, it depends on the tuner.
TRSCobra
Or just sell that BOV and get a CNT DP, then a stage 2 tune and you'll be really happy.
