Hey Rich, how do you like the BC's so far. I am about to pull the trigger on these, but would like your overall input as far as ride quality. Also what spring rate do you have?

I love these coils. I've no problems with them 1 year 10,000 miles and going strong (knock on wood). The ride is great. I'll be honest with you, I'm not really sure what the spring rate is. At the time I had to special order these for the 3.6 legacy, not sure if they list them on the site now or not. So whatever the bc factory spring rate is it is...

I believe they are 8k/6k out of the box. I ended up going with 7k/7k. Going to try to find time to put them in today.

Nice, I have some questions cuz I'm also thinking about switching to coilovers instead of Swift springs.

Where did you buy it from? Was it for 08 WRX or 4th gen LGT? Were you able to keep the pillowball mount in the front? Did you use stock top hat for the rear? Thx!! :p

I bought these specific to my vehicle, although the box says for 2009+ LGT. Taiwans weird I guess. I bought them from Importimage Racing. They were the first to get back to me on pricing, so I gave them the business. As far as fitment, just plug and play. I removed the swifts and horrible KYB's and installed the BC's with perfect fitment. No need to use anything from oem struts such as top hats. BC's come with the pillow ball mounts. I have driven the car twice and so far it's night and day. Now I don't have to try to avoid every bump or dip in the road. The BC's handle them just fine. I am going to adjust ride height today and snap some pics. On dampening, they come 8 clicks out of factory which is track inspiring, but would never suggest for street use. I adjusted to 22 and it's much better. May even go up a bit more. As far as hard cornering, there is no tire besides a racing slick that could handle the BC's. My car is on rails now. Do note that I have never been on coilovers before so this is my biased review of them lol. I am sure the KW's are great, but so far, I am very satisfied at under a G shipped. Build quality is great and dampening adj is super easy. I'll let you know how the ride adj. goes.

Thank you so much, that's the exact information I need. Looks like I'll be upgrading to BCs in the near future. I think our 5th gen Legacys started in 2009 in Taiwan/Asia. When I upgrade it, I'll be changing the springs to Swifts'. I'll update you when/if that happens. :)
