5zigen 17x8 F10R-C HGNTNFHSDH - Edgeracing price

Hi all,

Was searching edgeracing to see what they offer for the Legacy GT. I had to enter in a 2005 LGT to find appropriate wheels, but whatever.

Anyway, they offer the 17x8 5zigen F10RN-C (or whatever it is) for $150 a piece, with bundled tires starting around $800. Even with decent tires the pricing is good.

It's a pretty simple wheel design, which I personally like, but it's a 17x8 that's relatively strong and good for everyday use by weighs only 17 pounds.

Just figured I'd share this, as I'm a big fan of the 17x8 sizing and losing a few pounds over stock.

Joe

check ebay user discounttiredirect first...

same wheels and tires cost me about 300 less than that, but they don't always have them. other than that edge has always had the best price.....

I found a good deal today too at discount tire. I think I like these a little more than the 5zigens.

MB Weapon wheels 17x8 (19lbs I read)

$136 per wheel

245/40/17 Kumho SPT

$114 per tire

+$1150

-$100 off wheel and tire coupon until march 31st

-$100 off use discount tire card (can apply and used same day)

enough zip ties and duct tape will fix anything.

I usually just search for rims that fit a 2004 STi, and then I have to watch to make sure offsets aren't too low...

A lot of sites don't let you run wider than OEM, which is 7"

Here are my 5zigen's before some of my current mods meant I couldn't run them. I sometimes miss the bronze rims ;)

I used to run them on my WRX back when I had it, the wheels were good quality and I ran them year round. After a year paint started chipping on the "lip" , I am not sure whether I used the wrong cleaner or just the paint quality. Using some paint remover from home depot I had some custom wheels. Overall I would buy again.
