99acr
I have a 05 lgt automatic. Does it have a timing belt guide? My engine builder said it is missing and I can't find a stock example, let alone a replacement of one. I did find an aftermarket one, but I don't see where it's a factory thing. tdelker
The automatic does NOT have timing belt guides. This is not obvious in the FSM. I found out when I changed my timing belt. Thanks DaveIf you Have an automatic transmission I would not add a timing belt guide. There really is no use for it and it can cause the belt to be worn prematurely if not properly installed. DaveWaters
Thank you ... I mounted it and was unable to get the 1 mm clearance on the passenger side so I took it off.
