jameshull
hey guys, im kinda new to all this and planning to lower my 05 outback. i've got a set of legacy gt struts (wagon) and king low springs for the legacy wagon. after reading a few more threads i'm not sure if the low springs will be necessary, as they might give me more problems than i really want (rubbing, bottoming out, etc.). what are people's thoughts on this? i just really want to know how low is low enough, and how low is too low thanks! Rhitter
How low do you want to go? All that is up to you. You will need to replace the rear bump stops with Legqcy ones though. Edit: read through this thread it will answer a lot of your questions http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/lgt-wagon-suspension-swapped-into-outback-xt-140548.html My OBXT build
Arsenic
Just lowered my 06 OBXT with BC BR coilovers. I cut about an inch off of my outback bumpstops with a saws-all. Way cheaper than buying LGT bumpstops, which were about 100 bucks from Subaru. The only downside was the smell of burning rubber.
Rester5350
I'm pretty sure it's not bump stops as much as it is the upper control arm. Lgt rear Uca Kca 399 Profit
wobbegong
Won't you have a Legacy then ??
kongzilla
Most people forget that tire size plays a part when you want to be slammed. Having 55 series on a slammed outback is not ideal.
