Legend
I need new front glass and I need tires installed and alignment in the springs area... Recommendations? Edit: ok auto glass authority for glass. Who for the alignment? +1 Again for Scott with Auto Glass Authority.. he's now replaced 3 windshields for me. I use Firestone for alignments on all my cars. I buy the lifetime alignment for every vehicle and ask them to align it every time it is in (for oil changes, tire rotations, etc). If you own your vehicle for more than a year or two lifetime is the no-brainer way to go. My '05 LGT My '07 Supercharged Shelby
PutnamCO
There's a Firestone that I used during college while in the Springs. It's on Cascade downtown.
lingling1337
I have a frozen rear toe bolt, so i will need good alignment shop that will deal with it and get me new parts from the dealer. It will def need to be cut, Firestone won't do that. Edited May 9, 2014 by lingling1337

It will def need to be cut, Firestone won't do that. FWIW, I think they would. They flat out won't do any custom work or work with aftermarket products, but if your stuff is OEM, they'll fix it. They've done all kinds of work on my LGT, Shelby, Wrangler, and Infiniti. Plus, one really great thing about Firestone is the "fix it or it's free guarantee". You won't pay 1 penny for labor or parts if they don't fix your problem. I took my Wrangler into them 6 months ago for a rotational squeak/squeel. Their best bet was the idler pulley. They changed the pulley, but it failed to resolve the issue. I went back the next day and got a full refund for the parts and labor (even though I got the new part). I took it again a few weeks later for another stab at it and it was the water pump. If I were you I'd take it in to them and just let them discover the problem and deal with it. lingling1337
I paid heuberger to do the job. $115 an hour shop rate but I got the professionalism, speed, and attention I expected for that price. They ended up needing to replace both lateral links.
Rybeauflavin
I know they are not a colorado company. But I bought a motor about six months ago from JDMracingmotors.com and the guys who I worked with were extremely helpful even a couple months after making the purchase if I had questions they were still happy to answer and help out. So I recommend them to everyone who is looking for any japanese market parts.
mwiener2
First... Delete this spam ^^ 5250 Performance has expanded their shop. They now have 6000 sqft of fabrication and racing goodness. They are Subaru experts above all else and are putting out some really cool custom work. They do general maintenance services on Subarus and a few other makes. Custom stainless steel exhausts, manifolds, turbo kits. Aluminum intercooler piping, intercoolers, tanks and pressure vessels. They also do custom electronics and stereo work. Very tidy and clean work. Most jobs come out looking like they came that way from the factory. *I have a biased opinion of this shop* My Mods List (Updated 8/22/17) 2005 Outback FMT Running on Electrons

Legend
For paintless dent repair there is a guy in the service garage at Go Honda (104th & Federal) that does some nice work. Our garage door closed on the back of my wife's Honda and left a 6-inch shallow crease in the decklid. He took it out for $50. It looks perfect - literally perfect. Later I took my car to him to have 3-4 small dings taken out. Again, nice work and $50. You can just stop in any time. He mainly fixes up the used car lot, and if you drop in he'll just put his current car aside and take care of you. When I get home I'll look up his business card and post details. Dammit I dropped a snow shovel off my garage wall and it landed on the rear quarter panel of my Shelby... Looks like I'll make my annual trip to Terry this week. This will be my 5th visit or so... the guy is a magician. My '05 LGT My '07 Supercharged Shelby

Rad1134
I went to Super Rupair in Boulder today to have them double check my trouble code. The code was P0507, Idle air control valve malfunctioning(which I knew before they looked). The man behind the counter said there would be a $50 charge to "make sure that nothing else was wrong." Is this a normal thing mechanics do? Charge the customer an extra $50 to run a deeper diagnostic? I know very little about car maintenance and repair shops so I apologize for being a noobie. I'm not bashing Super Rupair either, I've just never heard of this.

Planner
No. That's lame. btw..... Is anyone maintaining this thread or a should a new one be started? A lot of the businesses have moved, changed numbers, or gone out of business. I would suggest just updating the info in this thread. I subscribed to it for the references and it was very helpful in my decisions on engine work after I moved to CO. kyleap007
sorry if this has been covered, read through the first 8 pages and decided to post. Freshley moved to Boulder...Just had my leggy in to Flatirons Subaru, They quoted me $1,215 for a leak from the power steering rack leaking from the valve under universal joint and onto cross member. rack and pinion must be replaced due to high mileage (117k) Also oil pan gasket seeping quoted $482 I've sworn I wouldn't throw another 1000 at this car, but at this point I own her SO HARD that im definitely looking to weight my options here. Any specific recommendations? This thread is great, thanks guys!

regg01
I'd like to recommend Donahue Restoration in Aurora (720) 532-0565 for all collision, paint, and other restoration and body shop work. regg01
I may have posted this before, but I'd like to recommend Speedy Roo Motorsports in Aurora (Tower and Hampden) for ALL Subaru, Toyota (their specialties) and import maintenance, repair, and performance needs. They've recently become a retailer for Schaeffer synthetic oil, too. They're in the process of installing a dynomometer and establishing dyno tuning services. Stay tuned for Dyno days! Their phone number is 303-400-0625.
