My new ride! Just saying hey.

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone wanted to introduce myself and post up a couple pictures of my new 2008 Spec.B! My names is Nate, i used to go by N8wrx because of my prior car a 2003 swapped wrx. So I'm definitely not new to the Subaru crowd. I just sold the 2003 WRX, it had a EJ207 JDM engine swap in it with a GT3076R rotated turbo. I didn't want to end up worrying about replacing things down the road on it and ended up deciding to get something a bit newer with some bells and whistles but enough about me, meet my new car!

His Name is Josh, lives in Maine not too far from me actually. It dynoed 408 AWHP 346 ft lbs when i first had it and i drove it for 4 years after the swap. I bought the original shell from tri city subaru in 2004, then I drove it till i swapped it as a stage 2 car with some mild body mods. Was a great car but i wanted something newer i could do my long work commute with and not have to worry about anything (break downs, miles on the car(im anal lol), cops? etc etc.). This Spec b is a nice "blend in" looking car but still has that sporty look and feel with the amazing drivetrain/engine and some nice interior tid bits too. Thanks for the congratz! :)

Who ended up buying your last car?

I miss the power of my ej207 but not the car it was put in

Spec B's are nice! congrats!

I love the fact they are SUPER light weight, the previous owner purchased them pretty much on that fact and that they were his favorite rim. I will be selling them once i buy my new set. Im looking at some Advan RS2's for summers prob with some toyo summer rubber. Then just rock some nice steelies or junk 17 inch rim with blizzack snows

Those wheels suck, I'll dispose of them for you.

hell ya they were my favorite... so lightweight... that's the only reason i liked them. 17" = cheaper tires too which i liked as well. As I said, if my new car or any of my cars were 5X100 I'd "dispose" of them for you...

I'm looking for the same set for the Mini, just 4X100 instead. I can't pry myself away from how light they are.

Hope you enjoy the B!

Nate, this for sale?

Saw it listed on Nasioc, why wouldn't you try to sell it here?

Yea it is for sale, im still driving it but its a HUGE car i really didnt expect it to be so much larger than the impreza i was in so im just looking to get into a smaller car (my preference) I had not listed it on here yet as i dont visit here too too often and im not in any rush to sell it or anything still a great car but im waiting for the right 2.5rs coupe to show up (a few have sense i got this and i missed out) so i might just pick up a beater till i can find a RS i like and stop paying on the large loan i have out for this to save for a better condition RS or shipping from someplace where rust isnt so common. If your interested let me know and we can discuss details.
