Crinaldi23
I just dropped my car and i got basically an inch and a half drop all around. I am picking out new summer wheels and i dont know if i should choose a 35mm offset or a 48mm offset. Would i have to roll my fenders if i am planning on running an 18" rim with 215/40/18 tires?? please help!!
Xenonk
offsets means nothing if you dont compare the rim width.. a 7" wide wheel with a +48mm offset is totally different than a 8" wide wheel with a +48mm offset. Check your widths first, then go read my FAQ/Sticky on the top of this wheel/tire forum. It will tell you all the ranges you need to look for offsets and what fits our car. Also if done right, you can run something like a 225/40/18 or even as wide as a 245/35/18 (which about the same sidewall height, but almost 1" wider tire) and you can put that on a 18x8.5 +45mm offset just fine. How did you lower your car? With coilovers or just replaced the springs and used an OEM style shock to go with the springs? Keefe
Crinaldi23
I have lowering springs and new struts so i wouldnt be able to adjust it..and my new rims are going to be 8" wide..so do you suggest 35 or 48??...and i already have my tires 215/40/18 that came off of my old rims!!
