ivonr
Did anyone actually do this? I'm @ 55k and I'm wondering if its time..ride is getting a little rougher and she's seen some off-roading.
xxirish83x
I just did my fronts at 95k. Pull the boot back on them and see if they are leaking.

c-lo
236k. still on my original fronts. 258k miles - Stock engine/minor suspension upgrades/original shocks/rear struts replaced at 222k/4 passenger side wheel bearings/3 clutches/1 radiator/3 turbos
bluesuby
I changed all 4 at 70k and got a much better ride. If you're going with a good quality strut like Koni you may as well get the most out of them for as long as possible.
DiscoPete
I changed all four struts in my OBXT near 37K miles. The LR had begun to leak oil, and the car always did have too soft and bouncy of a ride so I took the oportunity to upgrade to stiffer struts. It now rides better than it ever did before. rob-2
Still original struts for me at 103K. I've got no signs of blown struts.
GTPpilot
110k on my (as far as I know) original suspension. No leaks, handles fine. I don't plan on replacing unless I absolutely have to. Seems like suspension bushings and stuff fail before the struts actually fail.
Danteneon
Replaced/upgraded mine at 69K. While they weren't badly worn or leaking, they are still just stock OBK struts. Replaced with SpecB units and couldn't be happier. I like to cook my pets and my family. Use commas. Don't be a psycho.
BigTDogg MA
replaced the rears at 98K before buying it, replaced the fronts around 110k. Next time I'll probably do the springs and other shizzle too.
lockmedic
I bought a set of used struts from a 2005 LGT wagon that allegedly had 60k on them. Both were leaking slightly (or had some really tough Cosmoline transit coating on them) and one had no rebound. . . so yeah, I don't see a problem replacing them at that mileage. Top hat bearings were crunchy too. . .
