need new starter?

today i got in my car and tryed to start it and nothing. the radio and all the lights turn on and its just clicks when i try to start it. I jumped started it and thought it was just my battery, then after letting it run for a while it wouldnt start again. im thinking its the starter. Any ideas?

funny shit, i called my friend over to look at it wit me, turns out is was jus the cables. There was too much corrosion around the cables and it wasnt getting a good connection to the battery, so i cleaned them off wit a toothbrush and it works fine now. thanks for the advice anways fella's.

I thought most of us learned years ago...clean the cables first.

 

If every thing works but it won't start it's dirty cables 9 out 10 times.

I learned that about 1978 on my 340 Duster.

 

How old is your car ? if it's 5 or 6 years old, you may want to think about a new battery before winter sets in.

305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD).  CHECK your oil, these cars use it.
