NateH
I found a 2006 lgt for a decent price. Has all the service records and is in good shape. The only problem is that it is an automatic. I have only ever owned manuals. Can some members with auto transmissions and paddle shifters chime in and let me know how it is? Does it lag like the old Subarus? Is it still fun to drive? Thanks in advance:)
NateH
I went and drove it today. Unfortunately I was not impressed. It did not pull as hard as I expected and the seats were very stiff. The search continues....
Drift Motion
i believe only 08-09 had the paddle shifters... definitely wait for the right car
Chris GTO TT
I test drove an auto LGT before I found my LGT and honestly I was beyond let down with it. IMO the Manual is the only way to go, wait for one to come up near you and you won't be disappointed. 2003 Baja 5MT 2016 Outback 2.5i Premium w/Eyesight

planelazy
Everyone has their own preferences. I would have preferred a manual but went with a 5eat because I drive a semi-truck and it was too much of a hassle getting used to two different feeling pedals. datnguyen24
5EAT lags a little in S-mode, I would have preferred a Manual but this was a car my girl would be able to drive as well. Good luck with the search keep us posted on what you picked up.
Blue 07 Gt
I just picked up an 08 LGT Limited with the paddle shifters and really like them. I have never driven a stick LGT thou to compare it too. Let the search continue and get what you want. I'm glad i didn't buy the first one i drove. jdubski
yeah I think with a car with the pull like the LGT you gotta go stick. Im looking for a stick wrx or legacy right now. ive had stick and automatic cars in the past and swore of stick cars because of the socal traffic im always stuck in but when i started at looking for a subie, ive decided these cars are one of the few id drive a stick. but everyone has their preferences so whatever you like best
