juniorvarsity33
So, I was interested in the Eibach springs on my 2005 2.5i. However, according to Tirerack.com, the springs don't fit my model. Only the GT. I checked with Napa auto parts when I went in to get brake pads, and I had them run a check on part numbers for the suspension on both, and they claimed they were in fact the same. Can anyone give me an accurate answer on this so I can solve my suspension conundrum. Thank you for your assistance! -jv

juniorvarsity33
I checked at a local Subaru Dealership Parts Dept. and they part numbers were the same. The attendant said if the springs say they fit the GT, there's no reason they shouldnt fit mine.
Pawlwawl06
I'm pretty sure all suspension parts for the GT fit the 2.5i. I'm riding on Koni inserts and Swift springs which are both LGT parts.
Th3Franz
I think the 2.5i struts are valved to be more soft than 2.5GT. You might not be pleased with ride quality or handling if you put a stiffer spring with your stock 2.5i struts. -Franz The end of a Legacy http://www.youtube.com/th3franz

phenryiv1
I have done some research on here, and from what I could determine, (as has been posted above), the struts are different but the springs are the same. The SpecB uses different springs (rates and height). Patrick Looking for spacers or adapters to install aftermarket speakers in the doors of your Legacy? If the part numbers were the same, then they would be the same, but I think that they part numbers are different. The springs carry the same part number.
