cord4530
Mine is a SW20 MR2. Not officially a race car though, but its primary purpose is for track days. I've considered getting a hardtop SW20 and putting in the 2GR-FE V6 in to it and racing it in the Sport Touring class....

frank_ster
are your back wheels really lifting off the ground? i smell photoshop they can actually lift. they tighten the wheelie bar or anti roll bar in the case of fwd soo much that there is little weight on the rear wheels. during the burnout the front tires grow in diameter. that can lift some more. and then the water pit can be the dip to have the tires right off the ground. but having the wheelie bars down so far make the care very dangerous to drive since the wheelie wheel is typically plastic it doesnt hold traction very well! Max Capacity
are your back wheels really lifting off the ground? i smell photoshop Nope, the car has a wheelie bar that helps keep the front tires planted. Now that you mention it, they do say that with a correct set up, as the slicks grow the back tires could lift off the track. But they were talking about that happening at the top end when the wheel speed is high and the slicks grow. I have more burnout pictures, I'll look closer to if any of them look that way. None of the photo's are photo chopped, for one thing, I have no idea how to do that. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). Bob in Chicago
Before my '05 LGT daily driver, I had a '91 Mitsu Galant VR4, modded to 350WHP & 345 WTorque. I often took it to the road racing tracks to scare the EVO & STi boys. Next, I got this fully prepped track car (but streetable) '88 944 Turbo Porsche which runs with $100K GT3 Porsches. My LGT is slowly becoming a stealth demon!
