rayeve
My wife recently had a fender bender in her 2005 Legacy Wagon (someone backed into her front bumper). When the car came back from the shop that had replaced the front bumper cover, I noticed there there what looks like an "intended" horizontal seam (about 3 or 4 inches wide) where the passenger side bumper "upright" is located (i.e., the vertical post that leads from the very bottom of the horizontal part of the front bumper up towards the air grill opening. On the driver's side, there is no corresponding"seam." Is this normal? Or did they bondo the driver's side seam before painting and then forget to do the same on the passenger side before bolting the bumper cover back on??? I once owned a 2005 GT, but I have to now confess I never really looked at the grill on either car closely enough to remember exactly what I originally saw there. Many thanks! grovlet
IIRC - there is a cover there to hide the tow hook....
