losing power over 3500rpm?

2005 legacy gt,losing power at and above 3500 rpm. scanned with moniter and noticed the misfire moniter for cylinder #2 goes to the max. installed a new injector,but no change. swapped the coil from cyl #2,to #4,and still no change. tested the compression,and it is normal at 140 psi when cold. monitered fuel pressure,and it is at 40 psi. car has has the software upgade performed at the dealer for the stumble issue as well.any suggestions?

subiesales05gt, I need some translation from Canadian to US. :)

 

When you wrote "scanned with moniter" did you mean scanned with a Subaru Select Monitor?

When you wrote "the misfire moniter for cylinder #2 goes to the max" did you mean Roughness Monitor #2 goes to the max?

When you wrote "the egt sensor went up to 1160 deg" did you mean the factory EGT sensor reported 1160°C (2120°F)?

 

Has the ECM set a P0302 trouble code yet? If so, was the MIL flashing?
