Slickvic
Burn your redbook audio CDs at 4x speed or slower. You might be able to get away with burning them at 8x speed but thats pushing your luck.

PeterJMC
From what I've read... CD players can be sensitive to the color of the disc (part that data is written to). If burning at a slower speed doesn't work, try a different brand of disc. I've had no problems with Sony, Fujifilm, and Verbatim.
godwhomismike
Most of my CD are burnt and they all play fine for me.
j.reed
I have no problems with my CD-Rs or my CD-RWs written at the disc's max speed. I use Windows Media Player 10 to burn the CDs. Maybe your problem is the CD writing software, what do you use?

johnAWD
I've got a few burned at 32x & they work fine. My backup copy of Bullet In A Bible plays fine, but I am unable to switch tracks after track 10. I burn with roxio 7.5.

Rubix973
I basically only play burnt cds in my LGT and never have had a problem. Although as of late it seems if I leave a cd in the changer for an extended amount of time it will begin to skip. Keep in mind I never dropped the disc being that they go from the burner to the changer almost instantly. I am currently using memorex and they appear to be fine (I've probably burnt 20 of 'em). Though I usually use Sony and never had a problem either. On a side note what makes the Spec B's have mp3 capability in their changer?
PeterJMC
The Spec B radio is a different model which includes whatever hardware/coding needed to play Mp3s
