Need a color opinion on these Rotas

Just picked these up over the weekend and as much as i like the white I'm not a huge fan of it on the spec b silver.

 

 

 

So I'm thinking about going a dark red to somewhat match the brick red leather seats. But maybe darker like red wine, candy apple, or even Burgundy. Something like this (minus the pearl)

 

 

Thoughts??

(but since I see you had purple wheels before I imagine those are all too subtle for your taste). Saw a cool red done on some wheels over on nastysock - think they were "oxblood" or something like that. I don't like the brandywine - doesn't fit the interior tone either. Maybe get sample color chips and color match the brick red leather?

Gloss black, hyper black, hyper silver.

 

 

Agreed that white on silver looks bad. Same as gold or bronze on silver. Blech.

I was thinking like diamond black how the bbs's come but with gray or black wheels there's really no contrast. I want them to pop.

The bright color wheel trend is lost on me. With TSM - dark wheels work well, and brighter wheels (Hypersilver for example) show a lot more detail. Contrast can be acheived within the grayscale and there's something to be said for subtle mods vs. "in your face" (IMHO).

Correct, but most of us here aren't drift-crazy teenagers.

 

Paint 'em banana yellow if it suits you. But yeah, you will get a lot of votes for variations of silver / grey / black.

I like my cars looking OEMish.

Ok i totally feel you, my pops A/C cobra is titanium with black stripes and gray wheels and it looks sick, i don't deny it. I'm 23 years old but i feel like I'll always be 14 at heart and i just want a little something to stand out in your face. On top of that i realllly dislike going with the crowd thus why i got a legacy at 20 years old and not a rice bucket. I want something unique but not stupid. I like the idea of matching my seats to insinuate the spec b a little bit but at the same time still gather respect from the older crowd. My winter wheels are graphite gray from a Lamborghini color and it just doesn't do it for me..
