Sylvester
This is what I currently have on my car. 1997 2.5l outback. The next picture shows one that says it's interchangeable with legacy sand imprezas. Is this true?
Sylvester
This is the part that's listed as fitting both Impreza and legacy of the same year. Any advice?
Park
The one on my usdm and jdm had the same part number on them. Go to autozone.com and look for a coil pack for each car. If they're the same they are definitely interchangeable.
Osei
As long as the coil ends are the same, it will work. O.
Sylvester
As long as the coil ends are the same, it will work. O. Do you mean the plug? I made the mistake of buying a different coil for a legacy that supposedly fit my car and it didn't, so I don't want to do that again. You can see my original coil pack on the left and the coil pack that is listed as fitting but doesn't (it's physically bigger and doesn't fit). Osei
As you can see the coil ends are different. You need the female end on the coil. The plug wire has a similar end to spark plug. You can even pull one from the salvage. O.
DGR81
You could do a MSD mod.
86bratman
90-96 ej22e coils 93-96 ej18 and 96/97 ej25d coils are all interchangeable. The coil on the right is from a 97/98 ej22e or 98/99 ej25d.
Sylvester
Thank you, 86bratman, Are you saying, then , that this combo will work? These came from a 94 Impreza. I just want to double check. I guess it doesn't. After if it's DOHC or SOHC?
