iyamdman
Some times I try to shift into 3rd gear (manual 5), and it won't let me pushing me toward 5th. I have to back off and try again. Mostly happens when it is cold, but sometime when it is warm. Anyone else have this issue? Do you know if the Kartboy shifter bushings would help? wayne53
That happens to me for reverse, when cold. But it never seems to happen after driving a bit. -Tyler

gtguy
Something is wrong, it sounds like. My GT wagon (2nd allocation) is easy to engage in every gear, even first and reverse. Kevin
sjg
Ours has the same problem. It has only happened when getting started and the car is cold (usually just the first time shifting into third). Once the car is warmed up (really just a minute or two) the problem is gone.

Th3Franz
Make sure you let the shifter settle in neutral briefly and then push it up for 3rd gear. That's the habit I've gotten into, and it's quicker and more accurate for me.. -Franz The end of a Legacy http://www.youtube.com/th3franz

Reverse sometimes locks me out (gotta double clutch to get it in), but all other gears are fine.
