nsrt4me
Just got my new subie, starting to order parts, looking at the perrin dropin filter and afta maf hose kit http://www.perrinperformance.com/products/show/807/Panel-Filter-Maf-Hose-Kit?category=3&model=10 Im wondering if anyone has seen any performance gains with this setup, or if its kind of a waste. Reason I do not want a cold air or short ram would be the increased intake/engine noise, especially on highway. Thanks for input.
scoobydoobie
Simply put, no.
fishbone
The reason you do not want a cold air intake is because you would most likely need a tune for it, as it leans out the mixture. That is a much bigger problem than noise.
leftcoast74
Unless ur gonna swap out ur TBE, maybe upgraded intercooler with a tune, then no. Just wht scoobydoobie said. But before u know it u'll be doing all kinds off impulsive modding.
