Guest
So upon inspecting my JDM Spec B nose cut (got it dirt cheap), I noticed that the fender liners are the same as the GT except that there is an added extension riveted to it to cover the slightly wider/longer bumper underside. PN 59120AG120 & 59120AG130. FWIW, these riveted on bits cannot be bought separately.
JDMTukundo
Looking to embark on a front bumper swap on my 2005 LGT wagon. Any suggestions on what I could do? Preferably the cheapest and easiest route available. Whats your favorite bumper out there?

JDMTukundo
Alright, so I'm thinking of putting this on my 2005 LGT wagon. What else would I need to get to make this work? https://m.ebay.com/itm/JDM-2005-2006-2007-Subaru-Legacy-GT-BP5-Wagon-Front-Bumper-Fog-lights-Lip-OEM/162857122245?hash=item25eb0a79c5:g:iZIAAOSwGHJaX6WT Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

magnusonsubie
You'll have to either source a jdm crash bean or trim your usdm one. But other than that it will not on. You can complete it more with the fender liners too 2005 Vader Wagon Material Tests on Ringland Failure Piston I should have held off and purchased a wagon instead of the spec.B
Infosecdad
Remove the foam and trim the corner off your USDM bumper beam or pick up a JDM beam as Magnusonsubie said. Also, sourcing the JDM headlight brackets will definitely help with the fitment as well. These bumpers have a slightly different mounting setup. WRX USA
For a plastic grille it is very detailed and looks like metal. Here is my silver one: http://i672.photobucket.com/albums/vv87/JoshEAllen/IMG_5566.jpg If you want to trade for silver let me know.
Blink
^ Hmmm... never seen that grille before. Interesting. Presumably OEM upgrade, JDM or EDM?
xt2005bonbon
I did not know they had a silver option. Once I'll install mine, I'll see how it'll look. Thanks for the pic WRX USA. Yes it is an OEM upgrade as far as I can tell. Genuine Subaru product made in Japan. Saw that on the back of the grille.

Blink
This looks like a cheap price for a good condition JDM Spec B bumper, complete with the foglights and metal edge braces... https://www.ebay.com/itm/JDM-Subaru-OEM-Legacy-BL-BP-A-C-Spec-B-Front-Bumper-Conversion-Japan-03-07/152930869570?hash=item239b63e142:g:VmkAAOSwl5tam2O4&vxp=mtr

Shipping on this entire nose cut JDM sport bumper would probably run up the bill too. http://www.jdmtunersinc.com/jdmSubaruLegacyGTdarkBLUE.html
stocklgt
Can someone confirm what kind of bumper beam I will need for a JDM A-C Spec B bumper? HKC is out of them, and i found 2 online - but I don't know which, or if either, will fit. Can someone confirm or deny please? http://stores.ebay.ca/JAPANESE-PERFORMANCE-ENGINES?_dmd=2&_nkw=legacy+rebar thanks
famaya26
That looks like the same beam just upside down for one
stocklgt
1 is for 05-07 legacy wagon one is for 08-09. maybe they are the same, but i guess the real question is will it fit the rev a-c spec b bumper? looks very similar to this: https://www.ebay.com/itm/JDM-Subaru-OEM-Legacy-BL-BP-Bumper-Beam-Japan/273073175876?hash=item3f946dfd44:g:~yMAAOSwATxah70q which is made for the bumper, but unfortunately sold out. Otherwise, how much work is it to cut down the USDM bumper beam? also any clue on where to source the brackets for the jdm headlights, or will USDM brackets fit Thanks for the help in advance FYI i tried to search through most of this thread but cant really find an answer. Im swapping from a facelift front end to a jdm rev a-c pre, so I bought fenders, headlights, bumper, grill, and lip. But it appears the bumper does not have the inner metal brackets or fogs (fogs can swap over, can the brackets from usdm?). Also no undertray or fender lining. So if I can bother anyone to let me know what else is 100% needed immediately and what i can source over time i'd be super appreciative. stocklgt
They are both the same. Awesome, thanks, good to know. Wondering if it makes sense to buy it or just cut the usdm beam now.
Gex
The JDM and USDM beams are far from the same... The USDM beam is significantly larger. The JDM beam is the way to go for sure over cutting.
stocklgt
I think he was saying both beams i linked on here were the same... I know they are def not the same, usdm and jdm. Just wondering how much cutting is truly involved. I found one for $170 shipped, just want to be 100% sure before ordering it
