Derrickmd30
Ok I found a outback in the junkyard and I want to swap some parts. 1. The lock cylinders. I was looking in the car it's a automatic transmission andthe the key is stuck in the ignition. I was going to remove the ignition and door and trunk locks and use them on my car. How hard are they to remove and do you guys think the key is stuck because the battery is out the car? 2. Power mirrors , doors and heated mirrors. Is this a straight swap out? http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/03/24/6u9a6u2u.jpg http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/03/24/suzape8u.jpg 3. Here is the hood I know the bumpers is a straight swap I just have to get the beams too but what about the hoodhttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/03/24/na2eryjy.jpg 4. Cruise control. Where is the module located? The actuator and cable are under the hood and the switch I already removed it. What do I need to get the steering wheel off? http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/03/24/turuhyru.jpg 5. Rear spoiler and roof rails how hard are they to swap http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/03/24/vyberu8u.jpg This is the car I have and I'm trying to swap them to http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/03/24/ehu2uzu7.jpg Sent from my SM-N900T using Tapatalk
lancerswimmer89
the spoiler will be a tad hard, I would just use 2 sided tape. The rails are gonna suck cuz you will have to drill, i'd prolly avoid that. Hood is going to be a straight up swap, no issues
Zues Marine
The spoiler is easy, you just need to take your time... just installed a RFRB one one my wagon a few weeks back... its not fun drilling hoes in the hatch but like i said... go slow and you'll be good forget about the rails though, it'd be 10000% easier to get a yakima or thule rack
Derrickmd30
Ok. Never even heard of those rails. Sent from my SM-N900T using Tapatalk

twisty
subaru doesnt sell the spoiler gaskets anymore, so youll have to make your own or go without. im going to make my own when i do it. damn, my "im gonna..." list is getting too long.

Scruffy
Not sure about yours, but my GT has no wiring for the heated mirrors. There's a write up somewhere on here, but it was too much to do on my DD so I decided against it. you should pull the door panels and see. just don't confuse the tweeter wires for the heated plug. Omega79
For cruise control, module is in the passenger footwell behind the glove box I'm pretty sure. Make sure to get the vacuum pump from the opposite side of the engine compartment as well. It's close to the reciever/dryer, plus the vacuum lines that run across to the actuator. If your car is an auto, and the Outback is, you'll need the inhibitor switch which is somewhere near the throttle body. Not sure but you may need the brake switch, if your car is manual I think you'll need the clutch switch. I'm not sure how much they put in regardless with the 2nd gens. With the first gen you just had to plug in the parts, all the connectors were just hanging in wait!
