grimsleeper
Not so much a how-to, but I figured this might be useful to some (especially the lazy:lol:). I bought the COBB XLE BPV and noticed that it did not come with a gasket - or a grooved lip in the flange to retain the stock one - so I scanned the flange and traced in Photoshop. Template is exact dimensions of the stock BPV flange when printed. http://www.noble3d.com/lgt_bov_gasket.jpg http://www.noble3d.com/lgt_bov_flange.jpg RESCALED VERSION (if the above does not print correctly): http://legacygt.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=605&pictureid=3210
LosAngelesLGT
That is awesome. And you are a nerd! But it is awesome! About 100x more high-tech than my way... A sharpie and gasket paper (which works okay, but is not perfect and not high-tech).

Behold the technological superiority of 21st century gasket creation:lol:

LegacyMUN2k6
If you could come in way under that price point it would sell.

I just tried opening it in Paint and it worked. Also if you have Photoshop it should come in as 4.65"x2.1". I rescaled and updated the original post, I think the fact that it was 200dpi may be screwing it up in certain apps.

Figured it out, thanks. FYI AutoZone has a roll of rubberized gasket material for about $5, its a great deal for the amount you get. Its Fel-Pro 3157, they have it in the back. Its grey in color. 10" x 26" roll. Its like a rubberized paper-like gasket... it seems to be perfect for the BOV. I have not installed it yet, but imagine it will work fine. rhino6303
I am trying to get the above attached picture to scale correctly and haven't been able to using MS paint (don't have photoshop). I tried rescaling to 4.65"x2.1" and it was still too large. What are the pixels supposed to be adjusted to in the attached image? Thanks!
